After School Coding Club
The goal of the Dreamers Club is to enable students grades 9-12 to gain skills in mobile development that will prepare them for 21-century careers in tech. Student will also improve their reading and writing abilities while enhancing their analysis, mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, abstract thinking, problem solving, counting and logic soft skills. The Dreamers Club will be a hands-on, text-based coding course to enhance students’ literacy and writing capabilities that visual block-based code websites such as code.org cannot do. Students will be learning real-world coding with the Kotlin programming language used for building Android applications and also complete the Google Associate Android Developer Certification Exam.
